MONDAYENTREPRENEUR, founded by Maria Lopez, CPA and produced through Gallant Accountants and Advisors, uses the information described below to manage Miami LIVE registration, newsletter subscriptions, and this website.
Information we collect
When you register for early bird access, we collect your first and last name, email address, mobile phone number, company name, and the consent choices you make. Newsletter signup collects your name and email; phone and company are optional. We record the date, source page, version of the consent language, and SMS contact number shown when applicable. A four-digit email code verifies your mailbox before a new registration interest or newsletter signup is completed.
For site operations, we record your IP address, the page path visited, and the time of the visit. We use these records to understand website traffic, estimate distinct network visitors, investigate errors, and limit misuse. An IP address may represent several people on a shared network. We do not use precise geolocation, access your contacts, or read your device’s messages.
How we use and share information
We use registration information to manage event interest and, when payments become available, ticketing. We use newsletter information to send MONDAYENTREPRENEUR updates only when you choose to subscribe. SMS marketing requires a separate optional choice.
Amazon Web Services SES sends transactional verification emails on our behalf. Sendy processes newsletter and purchaser-list subscriptions on our behalf. Stripe will process payments when checkout is activated. Our hosting and infrastructure providers process website data to operate the service. We do not sell your personal information or share it with speakers or related brands for their independent marketing.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared for any third party’s own purposes. Providers supporting our messaging service may process them only on our behalf.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect legal rights, with your express consent, or as part of a transfer of the organization, subject to applicable requirements.
Browser storage and retention
We use browser session storage to remember that a newsletter invitation has been dismissed during your visit. The operations interface uses an essential secure session cookie for authorized staff. If the organizer enables Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager, optional Google analytics tags load only after you choose “Allow analytics.” They may use cookies and send visit and device information to Google to measure site usage. You can decline without affecting registration and change your choice using “Privacy choices” in the footer. We store that choice in your browser. These tags stay off in the operations interface.
Verification codes expire after 10 minutes. Queued codes are encrypted, and completed live email jobs discard their code payload. Unfinished verification details and encrypted preview captures are cleared after expiry by hourly maintenance; challenge records are removed after 24 hours and completed delivery records after seven days.
Raw website visit records are retained for approximately 30 days; an hourly maintenance process deletes older records. Registration, newsletter, and consent records are retained while needed for the event, subscription, support, and applicable recordkeeping obligations. Access to operational data is restricted to authorized staff.
Your choices
You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the unsubscribe link in a newsletter. For SMS, reply STOP or text STOP to [PLACEHOLDER]. You can request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting mlopez@bymarialopez.com. Some records may need to be retained to honor opt-outs or meet legal obligations.
This event website is intended for adult business owners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe such information has been submitted.
